SS-50K and SS-50K CH (Casing Hammer)

The SS-50K and SS-50K CH (Casing Hammer Package) is a heavy duty rig, with 50,000 pounds top head pullback capacity, and 50,000 pounds traveling block hoist capacity (with two lines), or 25,000 pound hoist capacity with single line pull.

The SS-50K and the SS-50K CH now comes as a "Wide Mast - Wide Table" version with a 24" table opening. Previous versions had 19.5" opening.

The standard drills shown on this page have 1000 CFM x 350 PSI Sullair compressors, were mounted on Peterbilt Model 357 trucks, and came with 525 horsepower Caterpillar Model C-15 engines.

We have been adding casing hammers to our drilling rigs for at least 30 years, many with extended masts, extended frames, swinging jibs for the diverter hoses, catheads, modified tables, breakout tong rams, and adding other custom features that make driving casing easy.

The SS-50K can be ordered with a variety of optional mud pumps, or compressor options.

Some of the standard pump options: 5" x 6" piston pump, 4.5" x 5" piston pump, 7.5" x 10" equivalent Centerline pump, 4" x 3" centrifugal pump, Moyno progressive cavity pump, Wilden air diaphram pump, and others on request.

The standard rig comes with a 6-pod carousel, pipe trough, single rod loader, retracing top-head drive, main hoist with 25,000 pound single line hoist, retracting working table, pipe spinner, hydraulic breakout ram with wrench, 4-hydraulic leveling jacks, PTO drive, removeable table bushings, swing out table with 24" opening when retracted, tool box.
