Gefco builds many different rig model that excell in the Geothermal Heatloop driliing market, however this model was
specially designed as a multipurpose drill, with this ever growing market in mind.
Initially this rig came out with 15,000 pounds of tophead pullback, and some have been beefed up to 20,000 pound pullback
with the tophead.
Th SS-15KHL has a top head that slides off-hole for easy running of casing, drill rods, or thermal pipe, and a main hoist
of 15,000 pounds.
The SS-15K-HL comes with a choice of a variety of air compressors, many mud pump options, optional pipe carousel,
pipe trough, single rod loader, sandline winch, grout pump, pipe spinner, casing hammer, and much more.
Note**Some customers prefer the GEFco table / kelly drive models for geothermal heat loop drilling, especially
in areas of relatively soft formations, holes that clean easily, or sticky clays.
