The SS-90K has 90,000 pounds pullback with the top head drive, and 90,000
pounds pullback with main hoist.
The Big Hole drill has an extremely large 6" ID bore, top head drive, with up to 15,000 pounds rotary torque.
This head was designed to facilitate conventional mud/air rotary drilling, and also 6" ID flooded reverse type drilling, or
large hole dual wall reverse drilling.
The lower support table has been changed from the older SS-70/90 K design to facilitate very large flooded reverse
bit handling, easier handling of large casing, an optional lower retracting table, optional casing jack guides, and optional
operation of large casing hammers.
The tophead travel is 38 feet and retracts to back of mast for tripping rods, and casing.
The rig is available with various air compressor packages, including the standard deck mounted 1,000 CFM x 350
PSI Sullair compressor.
Optional mud pump choices include, but are not limited to 7.5 x 10, 5.5 x 8, 5 x 6, 4x3, or multiple pump choices.
The top head is retractable for running casing, or drill rods with the main hoist line.
